Announcement on the Discontinuation of VIP Subscription Services and Cloud Services, and the Launch of the Sandbox Smart Pro App

Thank you for your continued support and trust in Sandbox Smart.

To allow more users to fully enjoy Sandbox Smart’s roasting features and the experience of coffee roasting immediately after purchasing their machine, while also continuing to promote the culture of home coffee roasting, Sandbox Smart has comprehensively optimized its product and service planning.
Effective immediately, we are officially adjusting the existing VIP subscription and app service structure, while simultaneously launching the new Sandbox Smart Pro App. Through a more open and convenient approach, we hope to provide users with a more complete and enhanced experience.

To protect your rights and ensure a smooth transition, please read the following announcement carefully and complete the relevant actions as instructed.

1. Changes to the VIP Subscription Service

In line with Sandbox Smart’s overall product operation strategy adjustment, effective immediately, the VIP features that were previously available only through a paid subscription will now be provided free of charge to all users.

We hope that every user who purchases a Sandbox Smart machine can enjoy a more complete roasting experience and full access to roasting features without the burden of additional subscription fees. This change also further reflects Sandbox Smart’s brand mission of promoting the joy of coffee roasting.

2. Notice of VIP Subscription Service Discontinuation

The VIP subscription service will be officially discontinued on April 1, 2026.

If you are currently subscribed, please review your subscription status according to the following instructions:

1) Users subscribed through the official website

If you subscribed to the VIP service through the Sandbox Smart official website, we will assist you with the cancellation process. No additional action is required on your part.

2) Users subscribed through iOS / Android

If you subscribed to the VIP service through the App Store or Google Play, please make sure to cancel your subscription manually through the subscription management page of the respective platform to avoid any unnecessary future charges.

3. Refund Information for Annual / Semi-Annual VIP Subscribers

For users who are currently subscribed to the VIP service under an annual plan or semi-annual plan, we have been sending notification emails since April from service@sandboxsmart.com to the email address associated with your Sandbox Smart APP account registration.

Once you receive the email, please complete and return your remittance information as soon as possible according to the instructions provided. We will process the refund in accordance with our procedures and return the relevant amount to you.

Please note:

Please check the email inbox associated with your APP account registration.

If you do not see the notification email in your inbox, please also check your spam or junk mail folder.

To help expedite the refund process, please complete the required information as soon as possible.

Refund conditions:

If your subscription expires in April, no refund will be issued, and no further notification will be sent.

If your subscription expires after May, a prorated refund will be provided.

4. Launch of the Sandbox Smart Pro App

The new Sandbox Smart Pro App is now officially available.

The Pro App will fully open access to the VIP-related features previously available in the original Sandbox Smart app, allowing all users to use them free of charge without any additional subscription fees.

However, due to adjustments to our cloud service structure, the following features will no longer be available in the new app framework:

.History backup

.Mine backup

.Profile sharing

.Roasting history export

In addition, the original Sandbox Smart app will cease service on May 31, 2026. To avoid any disruption to your use, we strongly recommend downloading and starting to use the Sandbox Smart Pro App as soon as possible.

5. Important Notes on Data Transfer from the Sandbox Smart App to the Pro App

To help users complete their data transfer smoothly, the Sandbox Smart Pro App will provide a data import service from April 1, 2026, 00:00 (GMT+8) to May 31, 2026, 00:00 (GMT+8).

Steps for data transfer

1. Download and open the Sandbox Smart Pro App

2. Tap the menu in the upper-left corner

3. Select “Import Data”

4. Enter the email address used to log in to your original Sandbox Smart app account

5. Confirm that the information entered is correct, then tap “Confirm”

6. The system will then sync your data to the Pro App

Important notes

.Please make sure to enter the login email address used for your original Sandbox Smart app account

.The email address must match your original account exactly, including uppercase and lowercase letters

.The data sync function can be performed multiple times; however, re-importing data will overwrite the existing data currently stored in the Pro App

.Once overwritten, the original data in the Pro App cannot be recovered

To avoid data loss, please carefully review all information before proceeding and perform the operation with caution.

6. Notice of Cloud Service Discontinuation

Due to an overall adjustment of our service structure, Sandbox Smart will officially shut down its cloud backup service on May 31, 2026, at 00:00 (GMT+8).

To ensure that your rights and usage are not affected, all users are requested to complete the following actions before May 31, 2026, at 00:00 (GMT+8):

.Confirm that your VIP subscription has been canceled

.Complete the download and installation of the Sandbox Smart Pro App

.Complete your data import and transfer process

Please pay close attention to the above timeline to avoid any impact on future use.

7. Adjustment to After-Sales Service Contact Channels

will be discontinued starting from June 1, 2026, at 00:00 (GMT+8).
